C-Mill$ shows love to his mother for being his biggest supporter and fan with his new album, “Long Live Momma Mill$.”
Milwaukee, WI born, Chris Harris grew into the music industry under the moniker C-Mill$. His path to his dreams was one of hardships, pain, and loss. After losing his father in his childhood, his mother was left to care for him and his younger sister. C-Mill$ had to witness the weight it placed upon his mother both financially and mentally. In order to cope with their harsh reality, drugs were her escape, but her love for C-Mill$ was the epitome of motherhood, a love that C-Mill$ would later in life give his own offspring.
C-Mill$ adopted the determination, will, and hustle of his mother, selling perfume, Cologne, socks CDs and DVDs to make ends meet. This survival instinct translated into his musical success when he began pursuing rapping seriously in 2011. His name spread as his work ethic saw the release of consistent music and videos, gaining him gigs to perform throughout his city, pushing his FeelMyPain Movement.
Through it all, his mother was right at his side believing in his dreams at every show. With each CD she sold on the streets, she pushed him one step closer to success. She was the first to show support, funding his first official video for the street anthem, “Real Ni*gas.” Sadly, she departed from this world on January 2nd, 2021. In honor of her life, C-Mill$ released his latest album, “Long Live Momma Mill$ (LLMM)” on March 11th, 2022. The 15-track dedication is an ode to his mother for her support and never-ending love. The project features local artists like Mahi Hollywood, Spitta, OG, and Platinum selling artist, Young Bleed.
C-Mill$ is a solid one. His mother would be proud to see his come up in the rap game. Be sure to show support for his album, “Long Live Momma Mill$.”
