Fans of Ciara should be hearing some new music very soon. According to the “Goodies,” “1, 2 Step” and “Ride” singer’s label boss L.A. Reid, she’s “next up” for Epic Records.

“@Epic_Records gaining some traction! @karminmusic @TheRealCashOut @1future @CherLloyd and next up… @ciara,” Reid wrote on Twitter.

The upcoming effort will be Ciara’s fifth studio album and her first since 2010’s ‘Basic Instinct,’ which saw her complaining about inadequate promotions from her then record label, Jive Records.

Earlier this year, Ciara told Sway in the Morning that she would be taking her time with the new project. “It’s just really about the vibe, and I’ll just tell you that it’s a good vibe going. It’s really important for me to take my time with this record and it’s important for the whole team. It’s really, really good energy,” said Ciara.

She has reportedly collaborated with Hit-Boy, Soundz and Diane Warren so far on the pending effort.
