JAY-Z INVESTS IN LIT METHOD FITNESS

It’s LIT!

JAY-Z is expanding his business moves to fitness.

On Tuesday (April 27), Page Six reports that the rap billionaire and business mogul’s venture capital firm, Marcy Ventures is investing in the Los Angeles-based fitness company Lit Method along with former Los Angeles Dodger and MLB All-Star Adrian Gonzalez.

Launched in May 2020 by co-founders Justin and Taylor Norris, LIT Method is a no jump, no run and no weight strength training, cardio, and physical therapy method. It features in all-in-one machine featuring over 500 low-impact exercises valued at $1,750.

In 2018, JAY-Z, Roc Nation’s Jay Brown and Larry Marcus launched Marcy Ventures, which has invested in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty, StockX, Wyze Labs, and Pela.

JAY-Z, who was declared a billionaire by Forbes in 2019 and currently worth $1.4 billion, most recently sold a majority of his stake in TIDAL to Square, Inc., his half of his Armand de Brignac to LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, and launched his cannabis brand, MONAGRAM.
