Kid Cudi has sure been making lots of hip-hop headlines lately. He’s been dropping new videos, announcing two tours, and revealing his Indicud tracklist, but it doesn’t stop there.
In an unexpected move, the artist whom Kanye West once stated was his favorite, going as far as to say that if he could make music like someone else, it’d be him, has announced that he will no longer be a part of Ye’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint.
Cudi says everything is cool between him and everyone else in the group, and that he could never get sick of Kanye, but he wanted to focus on his own label, Wicked Awesome, and his artist King Chip.
At least there’s no hard feelings – not sure we can say the same about his feelings towards Universal Motown Records.
