Get ready for the beautiful rebirth of Snoop Dogg and Pharrell’s musical friendship. According to Billboard, Uncle Snoop’s upcoming album will be released as part of his new deal with Skateboard P’s i am OTHER label in partnership with Columbia Records. As previously announced, Pharrell will be producing the entire project, with soul legends Stevie Wonder and Charlie Wilson set to make appearances (which should give you a pretty good idea of what the album might sound like).
“It’s a great record me and Pharrell did from top to bottom,” Snoop recently told MTV News. “It feels good and I’m happy to be back in the studio working with one of my favorite producers and homeboys. It’s different — it’s completely different than anything we’ve ever done. It feels good, sounds good, looks good.”
