Dave Chappelle made a surprise return to Hartford, CT, the city he jokingly wished would get bombed by North Korea after being heckled off stage just 12 months prior. Thankfully, the comic’s second appearance in the Connecticut state capital went a hell of a lot better as he closed out the Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival to roaring cheers, not frat bro boos, on Saturday night. While he maintains that last year’s crowd was “retarded,” we’ve got a feeling Dave won’t be printing up anymore of those “Fuck Hartford” T-shirts, no matter how well they sold.
